Peter is the Head of Department, Department of Reservoir Geology, Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS). He also Chairs the EuroGeoSurvey GeoEnergy Expert Group (EGS GEEG).
Manager of the Source Rock, Core, and Clay Minerals laboratories. Responsible for the scientific work and consultancy on conventional and unconventional fossil fuels in Denmark. GEUS managerial contact person with the Danish Energy Authorities. Chair the EuroGeoSurveys GeoEnergy Expert Group dealing with geo-energy in Europe. Recognized as independent scientific advisor for EU DG ENER and DG ENV on conventional and unconventional fossil fuels.
More than 25 years experience from field studies and reserve studies of Danish, Norwegian and UK Fields, and regional prospect mapping of the Danish, Norwegian, UK, and German North Sea. 17 years experience as project manager on scientific research studies and commercial integrated multi-disciplinary exploration and reservoir studies.
