Marco is currently a Business Development Manager at Aker Solutions in Norway since 2014. He started at Aker Solutions in 2012 where he took up his role of Senior Sales Engineer before being promoted in 2014. Aker Solutions, is a global provider of products, systems and services to the oil and gas industry. Aker’s engineering, design and technologies bring discoveries into production and maximize recovery from each petroleum field including Arctic and Deepwater environments. The company currently employs over 18,000 people in about 30 countries.
Prior to Aker Solutions, Marco was an Application Engineer for Gas Turbines at GE Oil & Gas 2007-2008, before becoming Product Leader at GE Oil & Gas 2008 to 2012.
Marco has a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Pisa in Italy.
